Not sure why you didn't just call Monoprice and ask them, and the product page itself says "does not support audio"

Not sure why you didn't just move along instead of posting a snide comment. I read the product review and saw a variety of answers. I came here to confirm them

I have a Monoprice adapter that DID NOT carry audio, just video to my TV from my i5 2.4 MBP. You have the same generation MBP, albeit a 2.53, so your mac has that ability.

I ended up picking this adapter from Amazon:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CK8TZ8
This one will carry audio & video. Works perfectly and looks pretty cool too. Not as cheap as monoprice, but does the job.

I read that you have to go to sound in system preferences and change the output to tv once you hook the cord up. Can you confirm that works?

SL is stable and solid for me. Leopard was Apple's Vista

Except leopard ran great right from 10.5.0. If anything Apple could ever be compared to Vista, it'd be 10.0 & 10.1. To be fair to microsoft though, 10.0 & 10.1 were considerably worse than vista. It wasn't til 10.2 that OS X actually became a usable OS.

I bought it for my family along with kinect sports, so far i love it very accurate in the scanning of your body and tracking movements, it's the only way ive got my wife to play video games with me the boxing was super fun and tiring, i can't wait till my son is old enough to understand how to use it.

Plus i like that when your done playing a game it shows highlights(pictures of you playing the game in funny positions).

If you just type "cd New" then press Tab, it'll autocomplete the rest of the command for you.

I walked in to the Spectrum Center BestBuy (accross the street from RTC) at noon. They have an area set aside for a line, but there was no one in it at that time. I also asked the clerk if they would be checking demand in the line and advising customers if there was a shortage, and he said "no".

So if you're not willing to take chances guessing whether they will have adequate stock (and I'm not), you're better off taking your chances with the Apple stores.

At least Tysons is indoors :P

I would wait until there is a tear down by ifixit to confirm or refute that. In the past you had to buy brackets and other cables i believe to do this yourself. Its a pain and you may want to wait for TB external SSD drives which would be faster and less of a pain than opening up your iMac

External 1TB SSD would be heaven, considering it won't be inconveniently stuck in your iMac for the price you pay and you can use it on whatever.. but I heard that won't happen any time soon?

In regards to the OP.. from what I've heard from an Apple professional over the phone, is that I can update my 1TB to 2TB or an SSD in a few years if I want to via a technician.. so yes, these ones are possibly upgradeable if the previous weren't?

I just couldn't believe that this guy from Apple was trying his best to convince me NOT TO spend an extra 450 on the SSD option, very friendly and helpful; was talking me out of it for a good 20 minutes. Which says something. Seems pretty genuine to me.

Didn't know you get credit in the Support Notes for reporting a bug :D time to start bug hunting...

It actually depends(largely on the group at Apple I think)

I reported a bug with an Apple product(Java), and while the engineer was quite responsive and eventually fixed the bug, I unfortunately didn't get a nod in the release notes.

It seems that most security bug finders get nods, probably as a way to encourage them to discretely report them to Apple instead of just announcing them to the world.

Seems like you just answered your own question, if your server is multi-honed you should be able to just configure your applications to only listen on specific interfaces. So set apache to only listen on X.X.X.X:80 and ruby http server on the other IP :8080.

I've never really owned a great point and shoot camera for the simple reason that I know I'd never really carry it around with me to use it. I have used a lot of cell phone cameras though, and I will say the ip4 camera is the best that I've used. I have no issues with the photos that I take looking messed up, but that could be because I have no awesome camera to compare it against. I would think that for 90% of the picture taking that most would do, it would be just fine. Even if not, it's worth the tradeoff of not Having to Carry around a Point and shoot camera wherever you go. I will say the camera is a big selling point for me and cell phones though. It's one of the main reasons I haven't went to android yet. The iPhone cameras seem to work ally better. Here are some photos I've snapped with a range of lighting conditions.

    Outside overcast.

The hat was just folded in half so people wouldn't have to actually put it on, and could just hold it up.

I eat my words then. :o

Looking at the site, it is actually not too bad looking. Well, for use on flights etc...

    I'd go with VBulletin.

I've used every forum software this is just about, and have never had such a well-working and easy to mod site as with VB.

If you could spend time modding PHPBB to be more SEO, imagine how much better VB would be with that sime time spent optimizing it's SEO capabilities. It's ahead to begin with, the same amount (or less) of time will push it way out of PHPBB's reach.

Much less prone to malicious scripts, as well.

Can anyone give me a list of all the song names on the ipods in the apple music store? Also can anybody give my the name of the song that is on an ipod at the store. Its name has the word voodoo in it and it is electronic. I want to know the band and the song name!!

If it had limited amount of lyrics; "magic people voodoo people"

Then the song is called Voodoo People by Prodigy, pretty old but still a classic Techno/progressive track. Thats the genre Techno/progressive. Electronica is like something like 808 State (the band) did in the mid-80s. Although Electronica goes back to say late 60's (speakn spell kind of sounds).

However Prodigy has got some seriously amazing tracks, definitely not one of those 1 hit wonders like Rico Suave, lol.

    definitely a good call.

it would be just plain stupid. looks like we are either stuck with moto or IBM is having alot of fun teasing us with their new proc.

To be honest, I'd probably get more excited over any optics that Nokia will bring to WP7.
A friend of mine is unfortunate enough to own an N8 but boy is the camera good on it. :)

Nokia has always made quality hardware, but as the Smartphone started to change to what we know now, It was sorely let down by Symbian.

That's the best thing you could've done, because I failed to do so, and now I waiting for my iPad to be shipped on April 20th, here in the US.

Yes I'm hoping that it will be first come first served basis and maybe it will be early next week??
