sidd_k2002, Just move forward and sent the necessary sponsorship letter so that they can go ahead and get the visitors visa. Do you have any brothers and sisters living in India that are still with your parents? If so, they can show that as a reason why they would not like to stay back in US.
Stop worrying and think positive. Since Graduation is a BIG event and its once in a life-time event, the presence of parents at the honoring ceremony is the dream for every child. Your parents should convey this point to the VO.

9/2. Recvd in mail on 9/8. Replied on 9/11. Recvd at TSC on 9/15. Status changed to 'processing resumed' 9/17.

I filed my 485 last week and didn't file for EAD. My spouse is filing 485 next week and i will be a dependent in that application. If i apply for EAD in his application, can i use it to invoke AC21 if i have to change job after 6 months under my 485?
I have read here that EAD is not necessary for AC21, but my lawyer said its needed.

I saw similar set of replies for a woman who sought help regarding her status for entering the country without passport from Canada (which was legal pre 9/11) and then divorcing the dude she was married to. Some righteous pricks called her names and gave red dots generously.
Seriously if you don't have constructive advise just keep your mouth shut. Nobody needs you to bring your vigilantism and judgement ion other people. A few too many pricks are the reason a lot of us get turned off of this site.

Most of the time you will hanlde referential integrity checks via SQL constraints or a double layer via your business objects and constraints together. If you wrap your update statements in a try/catch you can always catch any SQLExceptions first.
Self incrementing IDs shouldn't be a problem - the data objects should be smart enough to know not to try to insert a key, and they will let SQL pick it. You shouldn't need to worry about these at all.
As long as SQL has the constraints you shouldn't have any problems introduced by the application - the worst case is that the application throws an unhandled exception after trying to do an illegal insert. Of course if this causes any problems within the application and the data display it should be handled, but the actual underlying data shouldn't be affected.

I have a follow-up question. If I do not get my EAD before my current one expires, am i out of status? I have a LIN number for the renewal submission.
As long as You have Applied in Time You are not Out of status. If you have crossed 90 days , you can go to local immigration office and request for the temporary permit.
I submitted renewal on July 12, and I received an email on saturday for Card Production ordered and I did not receive any FP notice for renewal.

Yes, being able to produce a complete file with all the paperwork is a pre-requisite for self-represenation. However, if and when you decide to "pull out your G-28", how will you go about making sure that USCIS updates their records to ensure no further correspondence is sent to the attorney? Are you aware of a standard procedure to do that?

I already pllued all of my paperwork from attorney.
You must have at least a copy of all your filing paperwork from Labor Filing till today. This is required when you are filing anything new or responding any RFE, you sould match each and everything on the USCIS records when you are submitting any new paper work as a part of RFE/new application etc.
So, better have a copy of all paprework before..
I dont intend to change my employer/lawyer but just got all original approvals and copy of each and every paperwork from my attorney till date about my GC.. just to be safe..
I can pull out my G28 and be on my own at any time, but still save my ongoing pending petitions..

Hello,
Is the Nebraska Service Center fast or is there any other center that is fast. I am filing 140 and 485 together so kindly advice. Also, I would be getting married in 5 months in India and my Wife would come with me after that. Can I include her after she comes here? Is there anything that I would be aware off. Please advice.
