Let's promote the rally more, talk to all your friends, visit blogs, univeristy international associations, etc and spread the word! Let's sponsor people, invest our finances and our time. If there was ever a moment in our lives to do this it is now! Once you get your green card you can go and start your company and be a millionaire if you want. You can join our group and throw this idea, if 15 other in the group agree to it, it will fly...Atleast guys come forward to do something, what we should do we'll decide...Instead of asking for removing, perhaps asking for making it in ratio of country sizes might be more palatable. Note that Nepal has same numeric quota as China. I don't know how you can influence or initiate such changes, though.

Quick Chain of events .
India rejected both Boeing and Lockheed Martin's proposal of fighters . I am not debating the reasons or the merits of this decision if this was right or wrong . I am just discussing the potential repercussions this has had so far and might have .
'Exclusion of US firms from IAF jet deal a setback for ties' (http://www.indianexpress.com/news/exclusion-of-us-firms-from-iaf-jet-deal-a-setback.../783401/)
1) The issue is so serious that Tim Roemer , US Ambassador to India submitted his resignation immediately since he was on the hook for making this deal work .This shows the measure of disappointment they had.
2) India was seeking US assurances in security a Permanent Security council seat , which looks far fetched now .
4) Pentagon , Whitehouse and the DoD very upset that deal fell through . This sentiment will certainly percolate to the USCIS and the State department and might embolden Anti Immigration senators whose measures will get more support in the house and senate.
5) Prosecution of companies entangled in cases like Infosys might find more support and favor with the Govt.
Question is how/if there will be a backlash against India / Indian's get back at us at least in the short term .Increased scrutiny and visa denials , PoE Harassment , GC audits etc.
Will the US take a Tit-for-Tat reaction on this issue is what remains to be seen.

According to the reports, India went with the technical evaluation where as US in the name of transparency wanted a political decision. There is also end-user agreement US wanted India to sign, which allows US to come and check the planes whenever and wherever it wanted to... so blaming India in this is not right... Is it possible to have a door to door campaign in apartment complexes and educating Indian/Chinese/Philippine population around DC area. Or maybe a group of 2-3 volunteers standing in ethinic groceries/eateries and educating our community of what we are trying to do and why we need their support and how it will benefit all of us. I know it is easy to say this but if we need people to be motivated we need along with this HIGH TECH... we need some personal touch. People will come if people see people going. I mean SEEING. Maybe these writings and commonsense things dicussed here inspires/motivates us but a majority need a push/nudge in person. Hope we could arrange for volunteers around DC area (driving distance to DC) and rally up more numbers.
Door-to-door is a great idea! We need to do WHATEVER IT TAKES! We have the opportunity right now! Let's not let s pass!!

NBC news is old one on youtube and i rated 5 stars, but i think green card(other one) is new and awesome. rated 5 stars.

I agree that labor belongs to the company, but I paid all the fee for the same. They can always use that, but they are not supposed to screw up me In this case, they didn't talk to me and told me that my 485 was applied, which turned out to be a lie.

Well that depends on lots of things. If your assumption is that the PD is gonna move slowly and gradually forward, then what you are saying is true. Again, once he/she files 485, his 485 is not going to be processed immediately. AP, EAD may be issued but it may take 6-9 months for 485 to get processed.
However, if PD moves so much ahead that your PD is also current, then you will get your GC (if other processes are complete) whereas he/she would have just filed 485.
I completely agree with you. Without all these process, u cannot get GC even if you have PD. I think we all are in a fix.

What is the white man's (Europeans and others) visa to America then? I don't see any other ways people can come here on the same conditions as the H-1B visa.
Lol, it happens to be no visa!Most Europeans don't need a visa to get in this country and if they want to, they just stay back.....since they are are the same color as the majority they do not caste doubts or suspicions as much as the 'brown man' does....I don't think the majority of European immigrants to America came with any papers whatsoever......and lets not forget that before '65 race-based immigration was the policy.

You're right, the point I was making is the real intention of these Senators...When you want to scr.ew somebody you ask questions that are hard and mostly unanswerable....Take this example, Look at the requirement that Hyderabad Consulate has put up for H1B Visa Stamping, it sounds like they are saying don't you dare!!!

Yes; some people are not going to change their minds no matter what. I'm sure Grassley gets a lot of contributions and support from like minded people and he has to toe their line or they turn on him.
The other real American way would be to look at ways of undermining Grassley.
Case in point was Elliot Spitzer. Although what he was doing was right and justified; he took on some big players in Wall Street. Lots of fines; regulations, etc. Then all of a sudden he gets caught in a sting and he is ruined forever.
