Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the 4GB / 50 minute video recording cap? I used Greenpois0n to jailbreak, even though that likely makes no difference. I thought maybe there was something I could install to remove the cap.

Every time there's a patent or copyright article and people go off the deep end calling these companies crazy/evil, etc, I wish the article would indicate the fact that they are actually required to do so or risk losing their patent/trademarks. Doesn't even matter if they want to or not.
Why would the article indicate that ? You do not risk losing patents by not suing over them. That's only applicable to trademarks.

Per wikipedia, 1 Petabyte = 1000 terabytes
The better tidbit from Wikipedia is that Data from Star Trek had a capacity of 100 petabytes. So, Apple has a ways to go until they get something really interesting. iData?
Petabytes didn't exist in my dictionary until today. Thank you, MacRumors.
And it's a new one for the dictionary in Chrome on Windows, too. Petabyte gets the little red squiggly underline. But Safari on the Mac is hip to the lingo and knew the spelling.

Fivepoint's argument is akin to complaining that the slaves weren't paying their fair share of the taxes, and the plantation owners were paying far too much.
The top earners have almost all of the wealth in this country, they should be paying almost all of the taxes. If they were paying too much, wouldn't the wealth disparity be shrinking?
I wasn't arguing anything... simply pointing out the fallacy of his point. He stated they weren't paying their 'fair share' so I pointed out why he was wrong. That's all. BTW, what is with people like you who think they need to relate everything to slavery, the holocaust, or racism? :o

I never said I wanted the seller to lose his life or be seriously injured. Show me where I said that.
I'm not talking getting hurt either ... maybe $500 dollars damage to your car would be a fair price to pay for your foolish lane change? ... fair enough karma for wishing that on the buyer?

Well, then get one of the Apple nugs to demo the rest of the stuff that people are obviously interested in. If you aren't into the phone, there really wasn't much to see here.

Fact: You don't have to jailbreak the phone to access the info - it's on your hard drive
Fact: This issue was brought to Apple over a year ago - not a week ago.
Ultimately - as long as they fix the "bug" - all will be "ok"
The rest of that rhetoric is PR saving ass crap. Fact.

Hello.

***waving back***and loading my potato gun :D
I am not saying that there are no young men with out the ability to make wise choices. Wise choices are the foundation to wisdom. What I am saying is that you wont know how wise they are until you look back at them years down the road (usually). So I know it is kindof a contridiction. But I'm saying that it might not seem like a mistake now, but you might view it as one later down the road.
Plus the wisdom of men ends where his hormones begins.

I would tell him how I feel about the situation (either for or against it) but not order him around. After all he is an adult. Also make it clear to him that there are consequences for every decision.
