WRONG! FCP is definitely not the industry standard. It gained a lot of traction in market share from Avid but has since regressed its gains over the last several years.
Yeah, I was gonna say. When it comes to professionals Avid still reigns supreme (unfortunately, in my opinion).

Anyone with page orientation with MacWorld Website? Continuous screen rotation would cause my iPhone 4 to 'lock-up' and it would force quit several times. This problem occurs in two iPhone 4s and iPod Touch Gen 4. Only happens with MacWorld website.

HTML is a markup "language". It can't be used for dynamic stuff like that. To write to a file you need a server side scripting language, as client side stuff can't do that (unless maybe you're using a Java applet). Take a look at php.net for more info...

Trying to jailbreak my 3GS for hours and no sucess .
it has the new ios 4 software , tried with pnwage tool 4.0 ,
got a message sayig that firmware is not compatible .

Yea the last one was ridiculous, and crazy overpriced for what it was -the 4cyl was quoted around $30,000 and didn't have automatic *anything*, the seats felt like park benches, and it didn't have any of the nice interior features the 6cyl that cost 35+ did.
It had cool trunk hinges and tail lights, though. And that 2.0T is a neat engine (I'm sad they are launching the 2011 with a 2.5.. wtf?!)

At this point, I couldn't really care less about Blu Ray or HD-DVD. I'd be more excited if Apple included Lightscribe or equivalent capability in their drives. Unlabeled discs are piled high on my desk.

"Aliens vs Predator Requiem" was edited on Final Cut. But that movie was terrible. Maybe it was Final Cut�s fault. ;)
But in all seriousness: I think a new Final Cut version is clearly overdue. FCS3 was more like a feature-patch for FCS2 than a new version. These days not having any kind of native AVCHD support really slows you down (and uses up a lot of storage space) particularly considering the DSLR-hype since 2009!
I remember a friend of mine who had bought a Panasonic HMC 150 (which is a professional camera) before FCS3 was released and was expecting native AVCHD in the next release. He has been waiting for this feature for almost two years now, while all the other big editing systems have had it for a while, as far as I know!
I'm into the casual AVCHD use like most consumers, and while my opinion doesn't count the same as most of the heavy editors commenting, Steve Jobs does tend to have a liking for "the river coming to us" as the best use of resources.
In that regard, and with Intel popping Sandy Bridge on the CES stage in January, AVC will get some much needed silicon on chip for encode/decode; the only codec to get that treatment. I doubt that this is anything but conincidence, as OpenCL / Grand Central are much more necessary for FCP's overhaul, but it strikes me that any Sandy Bridge processor in any Mac will by definition ease the AVCHD issues in all of Apple's video applications. Since AVCHD is in the core, one can imagine imagine that future Xeon processors should be quite suitable for AVCHD editing (it's my understanding that the AVCHD standard supports division of the frame into 4 chunks for multithreading).
I hope that this thread is still alive when FCP arrives and that further, there are commenters with with hands on use of the Panasonic AG-AF100 and Sony NEX video cameras supporting AVCHD and dslr lenses.

Those for the death penalty. How do you feel about Manning (I think that's his name. The guy that released the classified documents), if found guilty he can get the death penalty for it. Hugh

And if you get rid of those extra appeals then you will kill more innocent people, and how is that different from murder?
Wow, again with the innocent people argument? How many times do i have to explain that there are many clear cut cases where there is no chance of innocence before you people get it through your heads? I already named two of them. While i acknowledge past wrongs, this is pretty much next to impossible today thanks to dna technology which only really went mainstream in the last decade. sorry guys, but there is no way ill be convinced that killing a serial killer is immoral.
