:( Is it possible to retrieve changes that I made to a document that I was editing on textedit. I had an exam open I my desktop and was halfway through and when I went back to it this morning - half-asleep - I accidently clicked don't save (don't laugh). Now all I have is the orig version with just the questions. Is this lost forever? AAhhhh.........any help is much appreciated

It's as if not a single person has taken a look at the FCP timeline for the last eight years. The last four releases have all been almost exactly two years apart from each other. FCS3 came out in 2009 and that means two years later in 2011 we will see the next iteration. You don't need a divining rod to figure out where the next version is. Pretty simple really.
As to edit systems, the beauty of the advancements that Apple, Adobe, Avid and to some extent Sony have made means that editors are no longer locked in to one system. I have premiere loaded on my system right alongside FCP. Because of the freelance nature of the business I think there are not as many "universal" truths about which app you need to use to cut your show. I would still estimate that there are many more FCP installs in use than Avid.

Yea the last one was ridiculous, and crazy overpriced for what it was -the 4cyl was quoted around $30,000 and didn't have automatic *anything*, the seats felt like park benches, and it didn't have any of the nice interior features the 6cyl that cost 35+ did.
It had cool trunk hinges and tail lights, though. And that 2.0T is a neat engine (I'm sad they are launching the 2011 with a 2.5.. wtf?!)
When you talk about the "4cyl" are you referring to the turbo? Because I think the 1.8/2.0 turbo is a good motor, not necessarily out of place on a $30k car.

It competes well enough with the base 4 cylinders in thr Japanese competition. Myself, if I were going for a Passat I'd opt for the diesel. Got mine through this morning from the AppleStore. Its absolutely wicked! Very, very diddy and comes with this cool little docking station to charge it and interface with my Mac. Looking forward to a trip to the gym tonight... ;)

Hi,
My sister looged into my ipad with her itunes account and now I have logged back in the updates ask for her password on her itunes account not mine.
If i buy something new its ok but the updates are for her account and I cannot get rid of this?
Any ideas?

Ahh the man with the shaky hand from the Lion demonstration.
It's hard not to begin shaking using that terrible mouse(Magic Mouse). On a hot summer day it's really hard using it. Here in Denmark the summer is really moist. And because of the surface of the mouse, after a longer period of time sweat begins to assemble on top making the swipe features simply not work. You have to have totally dry fingers and palms for using that mouse.
My point is; Apple, stop making mice all together. You're terrible at it. get a deal with Logitech for instance and have them cook up a beautiful mouse to go with your design standards.
The Magic Trackpad has the same issues like the Magic Mouse has. If it's not cramps it's sweaty palms and fingers.
I felt Craig's pain when he was demoing Lion. I cringed, thinking that it was not the best way to demo the swipe features.

I smell an impending cease and detest letter from Apple. This is of course the email above is legit.
That's a lot of cease and desist letters going out to ebay then as well. Theres no law against reselling items in your store whether its an Apple item or something else.

The key will be when Verizon gets the iPhone 5, as many have already said. But I don't see how contract commitments would be holding back current Verizon customers. Verizon customers have never bought a phone en masse like AT&T users with iPhones. Current AT&T customers looking to switch, however, would presumably be locked in to a 3GS contract for at least another couple of months, though at this point the ETF on a June or July 2009 contract is substantially less than another month of service. But they probably also believe a new iPhone will be coming in June, which might explain why they're content to sit tight.
Nothing about the CDMA iPhone matters until the new edition is released. Then we'll get a clearer picture of iPhone interest.

Wow... this girl handmakes these stylish vinyl laptop bags that are sized for 12" and 15" Powerbooks. Probably most appealing to girls, but I'm thinking about getting one of the 15" ones and a shoulder strap.
A little on the pricey side, maybe? But totally one of a kind, and they're handmade, so you can't really complain.
