There should be tighter provisions against multiple applications [via multiple employers]. it prone to abuse - as a way to increase chances of lottery [as it happened this yr].
There is no real justification in multiple applications - though one might argue otherwise. In the end, the candidate has to work for only one employer.
Interesting stats would be how many mulitple employers applications were filed per candidate, not sure if uscis publishes them!

I am not sure why the previous employer is required to provide a response to the RFE. It is the current employer (or the petitioner) who should respond to the RFE.

Can't you see the Gandhi link? Gandhi is East Indian and thats why he might have associated it with East Indian community. Dont harp too much on What Mr Oh wants/thinks.

Thanks for the responses. I think I will call USCIS and inquire and just to be on the safe side will send in a G325A separately with a letter. Ofcourse, will try getting a response from my attorney's office too. Thanks again.

Go to https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and register as a customer from the left panel. Once you register you can enter your receipt numbers and track your case. If there is a case status update they will send you an email.

How to get LUD without RN. Please elaborate. Also, did you get e-mail through your attorney or directly from uscis. Looking at my I-485 only e-mail address given is by law firm.

Support IV now or else start packing bags. There are few things that you can do and that is not difficult.
1. Become member of IV
2. Support them by contributing money.
3. Support them by taking part in conference call and meet the lawmakers.
You can do it. By the way stop giving others BS that
1. We are on H1B and so no one will hear us.
2. Is it legal or illlegal to contributing money.
These are nothing but just excuseS. In reallity you don't have guts and faith in yourself.

I live in CA. I E-file EAD application online. In the instruction pdf file the address is Phoenix,AZ but in the confirmation document it is Lincoln,NE.
Which is the right address to send the supporting documents? :confused:

I don't understand why people are right now so worried about priority date retrogression. If you have passed 180 days after I140 approval, go ahead, change your job and incase your 485 gets denied, reapply with new employer, with new new job description, using old PD and get GC soon as your priority date will be current. Am I missing something?
There is no way I am going to spend 6-7 years in the same job with the same title(maybe even same company).

Hello,
I have not seen the 485 receipt notice come through and its been over 6 months since I applied. Down the line after a few months we will have to start preparing for EAD and AP renewal and I take it we will need a copy of the 485 receipt notice to file? Any thoughts.
FYI. I am also in similar situation. Applied on 07/02. I haven't received 485, EAD & AP receipts until now, though I have received FP Notice, EAD & AP Approval. I have called USCIS and made them create Service Request for which I didnot receive response even after 120 days. I took infopass appointment and the officer said that they have sent the receipt notice's in Sep' 07 and were not delivered back. But, me or my attorney haven't received receipts until now.
