But it was treason. There is a good reason that was a capital offense. The scale of death and misery that can be dealt through effective treason is far greater than than even a spray of bullets. If you support capital punishment, you should be in favor of hanging a traitor.
For that matter, why not Madoff? The effects of his mischief harmed far more people than even Manning. Why should he be spared the chair?

The "true" video iPod is actually MUCH more than a mere iPod. Thus it will take a presentation to discuss what it does, new supporting software, and just as likely, a new supporting service option.
It's great that Steve Jobs has personal presentations to release new products. But, if you believe it will take a presentation to discuss what the Video iPod does, Apple is not doing so hot on it's product design. How many other companies release products which are so much more complex, yet come with a simple written press release instead of a live presentation? It's a video iPod - I'd guess it plays video and has a interface to do so. Besides, only hard-core Apple fans view the quicktime videos of the presentation. Therefore, most iPod purchasers only get an impression piece from the press that may deal as much with Jobs presentation style as the product itself.

But you hit on what some may see as an issue (maybe not for sun baked - gain not speaking for him).
There was a change that I noticed in your posting behavior (since you and I seemed to have hit the same threads) before and after the announcement of the possible addition of mini mods. The two are most likely unrelated; but it is the perception of users that counts to some degree.
Wait a few weeks and and all of this will be forgotten as you know. :)
I've been a member of these forums for a long time now, and I really like it here, I've learnt a lot and had a lot of fun too. But, to move to the next level and actually become part of the MR team it is obvious to any idiot (even me!) that some of my old habits have to die, and I do need to be able to account for my actions. So yes, my posting may have changed slightly, but without that change my name wouldn't be in this list now, and I wouldn't be able to wasteland that spam!! :D

I know right? Christians are totally equivalent in women's clothing to Muslims. I initially admit that I am a genuine, bonafide Magic Mouse un-coordinated user or retard. I’m habitually right-clicking with my Magic Mouse on matters that I meant to be left-clicking on; and had even thought, (w/o looking) that I was left-clicking accurately on. Until the pesky, tell-tale, rectangular dialog box appears on my Mac mini, flat-screen desktop ... Informing me immediately that I just screwed up again and right-clicked where I thought that I was left-clicking. It’s obviously a Magic Mouse disorientation issue, and it’s up to me or my action to resolve it. And that is what I end up always scolding myself with, because I hadn’t first felt for the mouse’s side edge to secure an accurate click. Well this ‘my bad’ self-denigration flogging is over! ‘It’s not just mine alone spaz condition to blame!’ is my claim. There is an obvious void, error or design flaw of the hollowed Magic Mouse ~ that I beg to share in responsibility along with my personal malfunctions. Doy! The humpbacked, Apple Magic Mouse simply doesn’t even have a right-click/left-click divider or embossed spine on it at all, which is the obvious, inherent problem. Such as PC mice have always had, haven’t they? So I’ve do-it-yourself, (or done-it-myself) solved it by merely cutting a precise three-sixteenth inch, slightly-tapered sliver of black (my preference entirely) duct tape approximately 2” long and have successfully adhered it into it’s pre-determined, center position, (like cleavage), to achieve a resounding, accoladed victory!
My summation is that the spineless Apple Magic Mouse is not for everyone. But can be easily and inexpensively remedied to be so!

By the way, InuNacho, yes, the original sounds for Yar's Revenge left a lot to be desired. However, Yar's Revenge was IMHO the best original (i.e. not adapted from an arcade version) Atari 2600 sci-fi game in terms of gameplay.
