If so, it doesn't matter if your employer revokes I-140, you will be covered under AC21, provided you have another job offer in a same/similar position.

Hello,
Could anyone please suggest me a few consulting companies who can sponsor H1B visa? I am trying to bring my friend who is in India working for an automotive OEM. He was in Michigan for a while and he went back to India and it�s been almost more than 7 years since he left but now he wants to come back to Michigan.
If anyone knows any consultants in Michigan would be perfect since I already have a job lined up (verbally) through my contacts but I am not successful finding an employer who can sponsor H1B for him.

We are going to demand TRANSPARENCY in addition to efficiency for BECs. Its a part of Immigration voice's agenda.
Is there ANY mechanism right now for applicants or their attorneys to find out what's going on with their PERM application? Is there a phone number you can call or an email address you can write to? It seems that at a minimum the processing centers should issue a monthly report on the progress and issues encountered.

I will be there from 12 pm along with 2 family members and ALL of the supplies needed. We will take care of the chopping/prepping/frying.

Due to Iceland's volcanic ash my MIL trip has to be postponed. She was on visitor visa. We filed an extension with USCIS and paid $300. She left US as soon as flights started to resume.
USCIS approved her extension 30 days after she left US.
a) Can we seek a refund because this extension has to be filled due to reasons beyond our control
b) In the future how to seek a fee waiver (any tips or advice please).
c) Can we seek fee waiver when we e-file a petition.

The text is printed on your SSN card based on your visa status at the time of application. EAD is also a temporary status, this also requires a renewal. Hence, you would not be able to "remove" the text from your SSN card until your receive the GC.

I am planning to stay on H1B and I dont want to invalidate H1B by doing this.

I suspect, if the camera has a chargable clock battery, it's NOT a "user-servicable" part. The idea is that they don't break.
That's just a guess - I don't have a D70, so I don't know for sure.
I did a few entries in Google, with the result that I'm fairly sure the clock-battery is an internal non-user-changable battery [particularly a reference to the same technology being used on a Nikon D1].
I expect that aside from the inconvenience and shipping cost, the service is fairly reasonable in cost... But that's just a guess...

You need to get some paperwork from a doctor which will state that you can't attend college and why and for what reasons. However, this is not an easy case. Secondly, once you husband applies for I-130 based on marriage, this may violate your F-1 status as F-1 has purely non-immigrant intent and by filing I130 you show you intend to immigrate to the U.S.
I tried to help my friend to transfer to another school when he was on F-1. A month after he transferred to the new school, the IS Advisor told him that his F-1 status has been canceled in the SEVIS system. Later, through FOIA he learned it was due to I-130 petition filed by his wife on his behalf a few months earlier. Conicidently, they canceled his F-1 just after the I130 approval. Luckily, his wife became a US citizen just few months later and he adjusted status due to that.
I always advise to speak to an immigration attorney before taking any action. Thank you.

Gentlemen,
I had a quick question with EAD I understand that I can switch job after 180 days as long as there is 50% match in job description. However my companiy's legal coordiantor send me a weird query that she cannot find the job in hard to fill category. So my question is Does the job I am applying for using my EAD has to be hard to fill as in case of H1 or the only requirement is that the job description should match 50% with the underlying LC.

This is pretty confusing to me as to what I am can and cannot do with an EAD/AP combination. Right now I am on an H1-B visa. What are the major differences from getting a green card, other than the fact that if the green card is rejected for some reason, I would have to leave the country For example, on EAD/AP, can I:
1. Quit my current job and sit at home, and do nothing?
2. Start a company?
3. Go to Full time MBA school?
4. Go to part time MBA school with my current job?
5. Switch jobs as many times as I want using AC21?
