I have used AC21 to change jobs
I have a closing statement from my previous employer mentioning the exercisable options.
Here it goes:
Exercisable Options
Price $30
grant date 1/10/2007
Shares exercisable 400
total price =12000
Last date to exercise
7/20/2008
However the market share value for the company now is 26.00
now my question is if I were to exercise before the last date will I be getting the total amount of $12000 or 26 x 400 = $10400 or the difference between the share values which is infact negative or nothing?
I find it difficult understand this financial terms. I dont understand clearly the term 'Exercisable options' Is there a hidden treasure am going to get?????

I asked IV core on what version of immigration bill they support because I and other people wanted to know since there are so many amendments to the current immigration bill and Now I log in to see , the thread is missing, why, my question was straight forward, again I am asking them on what form of immigration bill they support. With an I-140 approval a strict reading of the law does seem to imply to me also that an extension only if I-485 cannot be filed. However USCIS has been interpreting this to be I-485 cant be approved because of visa numbers. And that makes sense.
So once dates go U (like they have now), or you are no longer current, you can still get 3 year extensions. Thats what has happened to a couple of my friends.

hmmm....cannot say in my case i had all the paystubs for the months before i resigned...it was only i left i didnt got the 2 paystubs though for 1 salary was paid and even bank statement is reflecting that and my employer confirmed by sending a mail......
It is a serious breach of not giving paystub bit kind of chicken egg problem becoz if u complain ot DOL tey ara for certin going to tear him off but he has liberty of cancelling you r visa.....
I know a ldy who was harrases in this manner , she wrote to DOL...and action was very promt.....and after few months she left those guys....

Best part of Indian EPF scheme you can withdraw 100% if you quit job or if you are in transition. So no retirement age restriction if somone wants money ;)
In US the nice thing about SSA is unemployment and disability security.
But 10 years is a long time to wait on a temporary visa to get your social security back.. There were some discussions to reduce this to 3 years but that talk is dead now.
In India, the best part is 100% compulsory employer contribution. But
Indian PF sucks with rising inflation and lack of accountability.
And we all know how the employers would "Package" their "contribution".
This latest development will sting Indian origin GC holders and US citizens who go back to work in India and MNC employees working abroad.

My case was also transferred to CSC. The transfer notice has a different receipt date than the receipt notice. MY case is now transferred back to NSC.
I would like to know if anybody of you have received finger print notice. I have not received it yet.

along with the letter you write, get an employment verification letter from your employer and send that with copies of your I94/visa stamp/I797 approval

The best recourse would be to pay the $100 or so and ask a qualified attorney; but from the J-1 cases of friends that I had seen closely here is what I can say:

We are in the same boat as you guys. Our lawyers said that the receipt date on the receipt notice is imp. The others can be ignored.
