Press 1 for having receipt number
Now enter your receipt number:
press 1 to confirm receipt number
Now listen to the case update info, somewhere in the middle of blah-blah
press 3 to report a problem with your case
press 4 for filed several related applications and have received the information on some but not all
(now if you listen a male voice prompting you to hold the call that means the call is going to IOs desk, if it says no IO is available, it will redirect it to NSC, you can hang up and try the next morning)

it is my understanding that she just needs your H1 approval notice, employment letter, your pay stubs etc. I don't think she even needs her H4 approval notice for her H4 stamping. I am very sure that only your H1 related documents are needed(she needs your original H1 approval)-please check with your lawyer
Me and my wife filed H1B extension through a company. I moved to consulting after my extension is approved. The consulting company filed my H1B transfer which is approved recently. Unfortunately my employer (the consulting company I moved to) dint file for my wife's H4 extension and he told that was not needed.
My question is can my wife with the petition approved from my previous employer to get her H4 stamped in India?

My attorney fee for 485 filing included only EAD and NOT AP, she was asking abt 500 $$ for each applicant, I wanted to do it myself as its a pretty easy process.
Is there a way to file for AP without the receipt number for 485? I wanted to file it under the old fee structure.
Also anybody knows how long it takes to process AP? probably i have to look at the USCIS processing times

Well, that is certainly frustrating! Your best option would be to get in touch with the designated Application Support Center to see if they can either notify the USCIS Service center of the error or have your daughter come in right away for fingerprinting. ASC phone numbers are generally not made public, but in many locations, ASC staff has provided local immigration attorneys with a phone number to use for urgent or unusual situations such as yours.
If you don't have an attorney who can call the ASC for you, you might consider just going to the ASC in person with your daughter to explain the situation and ask for their assistance.

"I would like to hear your professional opinion on the following issue: I have been on F-1 visa for 7 consecutive years. I have an employer that has sponsored me as a Graphic Designer. In fact I have obtained the I-140 through him already. I recently applied for employment AOS (July 25th) with my wife (She is on F2 visa) and I'm currently waiting on the Notice Receipt. School starts on August 20th and I'm hesitant on when exactly the new Immigrant Status starts. Do I still need to enroll for classes in order to maintain my visa? I don't intend to finish school due to financial difficulties, when exactly may I drop out from school? Should I remain enrolled up until I receive the EAD and AP? Thanks in advance for your response."

Right now, your Silverlight 2 project is set as your startup project. Set your Web Site as the startup project with the Loading_ImagesTutorial.html file as your startup page.
That should get everything working properly :)

I am traveling using AP (original) . I lost both EAD and 797 (H1) originals in house fire. will they ask for original EAD or 797 receipts or photocopies will do?
