I was looking at the Canada apple refurb store and they don't have a 16gb ipad...but the U.S. one does!
...any idea why? and will we see them again in the Canadian store?? the last time they were on was right after the iPad2 announcement ($379CND which is a ripoff compared to the US store where it's $329...but still a good deal!)
also, refurb.me/ca does not even show the 16gb model... :(

The http://www.att.com/anymobile site appears to be live now. However, the FAQ link goes to a "down for maintenance" page, and I don't see the new feature as an option in my account yet (with rate plan Family Talk 700).

BTW, I do remember seeing a commercial like this done as a PSA here in the States. Maybe if we here in teh States still owned the airwaves as originally intended, we might have more PSA's. But that is a rant for the PF here.

How about fixing the bug where listening to home sharing from your iDevice doesn't update play counts in iTunes like its suppose to. Not sure if it's a iOS bug or a iTunes bug but it doesn't work on either Windows or OS X.

Well finally we might actually see decent image editing on the iPad. I can't imagine this being anywhere as great as Photoshop on a real computer anytime soon, but the iPad should be able to run something like Photoshop 7 or CS without any problems thanks to the CPU power and RAM it has. If they just made it touch sensitive somehow, or added stylus or external tablet support somehow, that would be awesome.
I doubt there really is the need for a totally rewritten app here, as it will lack 99% of the good features in Photoshop (Liquify, robust Type tool, Curves, etc...).

So I found these on Intel's site, but I assume these are not the Sandybridge Xeons that everyone is saying will be in the next MacPros? What's the difference?

Can I use the MX-2 paste I used on the CPU's?
I used MX-1 on my Radeon 9800XT when I installed an ATI silencer 3 (http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/eol/vga/252/ati-silencer-3.html) (it came with the ATI Silencer IIRC). It's been almost 4 years and no problems.

I'm from the UK, where capital punishement was abolished in 1969. Here in the UK we would love capital punishement to be reintroduced, a life for a life as they sayDon't include me. Your reasoning is as confused as your conclusion. There is absolutely no logic in maintaining that killing is wrong and then appealing to that principle to justify more killing.

Hey all. I was screwing with iTunes4 tonight and I managed to delete all my playlists. They're still on my iPod (as is the whole iTunes library). Is there a program out there that will allow me to download my playlists from the iPod to iTunes? It will save me several hours of work if I can do that.

HAving moved from an iPhone 3G to an HTC Desire then recently to an iPhone 4, I have to say iOS is just a slicker, faster (in operation), more straightforward phone operating system. Android doesn't suck but it's a slapped together fiddle-fest by comparison.
However, people now see a 10 month old iPhone VS. ungainly 4.3 inch, dual-core, Android superphones and, as we know in the tech world, big numbers usually mean bigger sales.
Apple doesn't need to worry about Android getting big (it's going to dwarf the rest as you can get a low-end Android phone on a �15 contract these days) but does need to stay in touch with the top-tier Android phones else it can not longer bask in a 'Mercedes of phones' status.
This means faster updates (ideally a 4inch '4s' should have been out by now) and, radically, sqeezing GSM functionality into the iPod Touch making it a 'phone if you want it to be' and thus tackling the Android low-end while still being a premium product.
Also, iPhone didn't need CDMA. America needs less sucky GSM networks.

It's good, got my first one last week. It does get hot, really hot, but it's best interface I have ever heard. Going to add some heat sinks to the chips, that will help. Perfect timing with Pro Tools 9.
