I tried CIS press room, but couldn't find it. And i'm sure that about couple of weeks back i saw that memo (which states if initial evidences are not present, they might reject/deny a case without RFE). It was posted on this board and now its very hard to search with few words.
I saw that too. But my question was what if we provide partial evidence. i.e., get vaccinations and x-ray but not skin test. Hope that they will give an rfe for skin test if skin test is mandatory

question 1) did both you and your spouse's I485 cases receive the "pending at the location it was transfered to"?
question 2) did both you and your spouses I485 cases receive RFE?
question 3) did both you and your spouses case have an LUD after RFE?
have you guys received the RFE notices and if yes, what is USCIS asking

No RFE in our case. Just a soft LUD on 02/10 on both of our 485's. I had LUD on my AP thats yet to be approved, though my wife has not applied for any AP> Wondering if they just cross checking 485s for AP approval. And no, mine is not transfered case. Its always been at NSC.

If you look at the pending data by USCIS, there is a huge bump >4K in March 2005 so for Eb2I to cross that will be a significant milestone.

Seems like most of you guys have grudge against Andhrites (GULTIs that you call us with love). Agreed that most ppl who come to this univeristy are from AP. There are about 900 students in this university, but there are thousands of students from AP that are studying in other reputed university. I'm one of them.
I'm not sympathetic towards the ppl who are facing deportation. But i strongly condemn the way they are treated. Tying the tracking devices to their legs and treating them like terrorists is totally inhuman and insane

After reading what Mr Mark had to say i must say i m furious but at the same time i understand what he is trying to do viz Misguide!
Folks like Krikorian thrive on donations made by misguided people (in the name of not-for profit and enticing them with tax exemptions). You don't have to be an "Einstein" to figure that out but you have to be at least EB3 category :D
Reminds me of the Simcox guy of the minuteman project who raised millions and fooled a lot of people in the name of border fence which turned out to be a cow fence at best.
And now a little prayer to calm down Soul!

spelling mistake in my fathers name. Guess if i showel down 10% bribe
in their throat , they might give. Later i didn't bother to pester them,
i am here. The babus also might think "This chap is in USA , minting $$$".
I can attest to that. It's not unusual to have to pay bribe from 10-25% to get the PPF money. And even that takes weeks/months to complete. I've personally known relatives in India who had to do that. It's not even considered anything out of ordinary there. Good Luck R2I's.

FP status check phone is 304-625-5590. Name check is a different story. Write a letter to your congressman/senator or even Mr. President to inquiry about the name check status.

My Lawyer says that when they filed my 485 in July 2007, they sent both 140 petitions. IS THAT POSSIBLE ?
Now that the dates got current in Aug 2008 bulletin , I asked them to proceed further so that my case could be adjudicated.
They suggested me to wait and see since ,now, my original EB2 is current anyways.
My question is, Is there any way to find out which category (EB2 OR EB3)will USCIS consider my 485 case to be ?
Should I request infopass now or wait ?
Yes, in my opinion, you can file with two I140s, especially, if you want to use category of one and PD of the other. You can find the PD for your 485 on your 485 RN and from that you can deduce that they are looking at EB3 or EB2 I140.
Waiting for Aug/08 and calling USCIS for opening a SR is the good way to ask them to work on your case.

So they did approve some cases, very few though.

It is something to be concerned about, they don't seem to be have approved any EB3-I after July 07 (or may be they approved a very tiny number).
June 03 was the cutoff in June 07 and after that it hasn't crossed Nov 01 ever, till date. Very weird.

thanks for your supportive words for CP filers now CP filers need some relief as they are not able to get an EAD/AC21. I think we could ask to allow CP filers to file 485 with out having dates current and conserdering their CP filing date to get EAD and AC21.
