My GC application is buried somewhere, had a vey bad week at work with piling up workload and closing on deadlines, my child as a cold, my neighbor's dog has an infection that shows up smelling foul in my front porch, it is going to snow and rain this weekend, May visa bulletin is released, EB-2 India has not moved up; topping all these there are some nimcompoohs here fighting out in a public forum about how incapable we all are to change the federal laws! God, have some mercy. Give some time to IV moderators and me some power to permanently ban these people to write to any immigration forums I read. At least give me my GC soon so I don't visit IV as often I do now and come across these kinds.

for those with masters or phd there is already a special quota called EB1. All of the others are not different from one another. if with your MS/PhD you are going to do the same kind of job any qualified person from India would do, what is the need for a special catagory. You have to prove your point then everybody will agree. Just by saying "special quota for MS" we will ask; WHY? show us the reason. I know lot of engineering graduates/MBAs/research scientists who have got MS from here but dont see any special significant contribution. I also know lot of professionals (specialists in medical / other fields) who were trained in the US and are significantly valued all over the world. So to put it briefly, this argument will not work with the law makers. People with PhD and lot of publications / patents / significant contributions etc definitely need a special quota and they already have one. The rest of us are in the same boat friends.

Looks like it took it a bit to propagate across USCIS servers. Or else, they put it up and took it down, then put up again.
With the EAD at Nebraska officially being at 112 days (zero movement since June 18 processing times release), it is no surprise they don't respond to expedited/interim EAD requests anymore when it goes over 90 days. Will we have to file mandamus suits on EAD soon?

Has anyone thought of the people who missed the august 17 deadline because the labor was not cleared within time. Because of no mistake from ourside, we have to suffer. What a screwed up legal situation ?

thanks for your supportive words for CP filers now CP filers need some relief as they are not able to get an EAD/AC21. I think we could ask to allow CP filers to file 485 with out having dates current and conserdering their CP filing date to get EAD and AC21.

I think they might have thought that Grassley is like our Indian MPs and why should reply to him. They should have answered responsibly and tried to do some good faith efforts. Now it is paying time for their arrogance. Still Indian companies and Bodyshoppers are having time to change themselves. We need to wait and see whether they will change and forced to change.

I think all 3 of them (Husband & 2 wives) should apply for their own H1B's and make it here and then apply for separate GC's.
